Displaying intense blues, greens, golds, oranges, and purples, Spectrolite shows brighter and more complete iridescence than standard labradorite. It is found primarily in Ylämaa, Finland, where it was first discovered. Formed in igneous rock, this material is valued for its dramatic play of color.
